Woven from the finest Italian silk, modal and cashmere blend, each scarf is a canvas in its own right. Inspired by the landscape and culture of Ireland, Mark’s designs are both elemental and alluring, brimming with an almost spiritual energy through the semi-abstract forms. Sometimes understated and sometimes vibrant, yet always elegant, his palette evokes images of the sea, sky, land and city of his home, with one very special design representing the passion and power of Irish rugby.
Born in 1960, and having turned to painting full time as recently as 2003, Mark P Cullen’s artworks continue to find new audiences and admirers at home and abroad.
